  1. This is the Quick Setup dialog.  To add a device, setup its information above and click "Add."  Click on any item to display its information here.

  3. Use the "Manufacturer" and "Model" menus to set your device's manufacturer and model information.

  5. If the device's input or output is connected to an interface device, choose the corresponding interface from the "Studio Location" menu.

  7. For multi-cable interfaces, the "Cable" menu determines to which input and/or output the device is connected.

  9. The "Add" button adds the device described above to the configuration.  Be sure this information is correct before adding the device.

  11. Clicking a device in the "Current Configuration" list displays its information above.  To edit this information, first remove the device and re-add it.
  12.  
  13. The "Remove" button deletes the selected device from the current configuration.  Interface devices cannot be removed this way.
  14.  
  15. Click "Done" when the "Current Configuration" list most closely resembles your actual MIDI configuration.
